mt7697 is a highly integrated monolithic chip with application processor, low power 1x111N single frequency wi-fi subsystem, bluetooth subsystem, power management unit. I have no idea. The application processor subsystem contains an arm cortex-m4 with a floating point MCU. It also includes many peripherals including uart, i2c, spi, i2s, pwm, irda and auxiliary adc. It also includes embedded sram/rom. The wi-fi subsystem contains 802.11b/g/n radios, baseband, and macs, and is designed for low-power and high-throughput applications. It also contains a 32-bit riscccpu to completely offload the application processor. The Bluetooth subsystem includes the Bluetooth radio, baseband, and link controller. The hacker also uses the same 32-bit risc cpu for the bluetooth protocol.
